I was born in Alberta and moved to the West Coast more than 35 years ago. I am married with two boys.

It was my favorite aunt who inspired me to get into dentistry, and I’m so glad she did. I love helping people achieve optimal dental health and see the benefits of quality dental care.

I spent 15 years as a Certified Dental Assistant and have moved into practice administration, which I really enjoy.

Outside of the Office:

I chase after my two boys. I spend my spare time coordinating and coaching Challenger Baseball. I also enjoy outdoor adventures with my husband and the boys.

My Hero:

Wonder Woman. She is strong, independent, and fierce.

I was born in Vancouver and raised in Surrey. I now reside in Abbotsford with my husband and have two beautiful daughters. I also have a granddaughter and grandson who are the light of my life.

I have always been interested in healthcare so dentistry seemed to a good fit for me. I went to school in Vancouver for dental assisting and then went on to get my certification through correspondence while I worked as a chairside. I have worked in the dental field for over 30 years with the last 15 working as a front desk administrator and love helping people achieve their optimal healthcare needs.

Outside of the Office:

My life outside of the office revolves around my family and friends and spending time with them. I also love walking and hiking with the most beautiful scenery that we are so fortunate to call home.

My Hero:

My hero would be my parents who worked so very hard raising eight children with so much love and guidance along the way.

I was born and raised in Zimbabwe and moved to Vancouver 11 years ago.

I have always worked in administration or as a bookkeeper, but five years ago I decided that it was time for a career change. It was my sister-in-law who worked in dentistry for many years that piqued my interest. So I decided to go back to school to achieve a dental office administration certification, and I haven’t looked back since.

It has been such a gratifying career knowing that, in some small way, I have had a helping hand in assisting patients. Whether it has been with their dental claims, providing a kind voice on the other end of the telephone, or even just a welcoming smile.

Outside of the Office:

I enjoy spending time with my family, going shopping with my best friend, and camping during the summer. Who doesn’t love a good camping weekend soaking up the sunshine and enjoying this beautiful country that I now call home.

My Hero:

My mom. She was the most loving, caring, and strongest woman I have known. She only ever saw the good in people. She believed that loving others and giving of your time is the most important gift you could ever give someone. Sadly, my beautiful mom passed away four years ago. When life gives me lemons, I remember whose daughter I am.

I have a keen interest in overall health and each patient’s well-being. I really enjoy being a part of helping people achieve their health and smile goals. The bonus of working with people is the relationships you build along the way.

Outside of the Office:

I like walking/hiking with my mini labradoodle. Much of the summer is spent with my family in Osoyoos. I go paddle-boarding, attempt to play golf, and enjoy visiting a winery or two.

My Hero:

My hero is my dad.

I was born and raised in Alberta. I am still married to my first husband of 31 years. We have a grown son and daughter. We also have a “young at heart” border collie who is still expecting to go to university.

At age 14, I was employed as a shampoo assistant at a hair salon. I credit this early work experience and all the aspects of customer service that I was exposed to that created my desire to work with the public. It was during a career counseling session in high school that I was pointed in the direction of dental hygiene. There was a high demand for hygienists at that time and due to my love of customer service, it seemed like the ideal fit.

I have now spent more than 36 years in the industry and still feel passionate about inspiring patients to take better care of themselves. I’m a “flossing cheerleader” and really care about what I do. It is the best feeling when a client says, “that was the best cleaning I’ve ever had.”

Outside of the office:

I like to stay fit by attending three High-Intensity Resistance Training classes a week. I also love to ski, snowshoe and spend time with family, especially with our kids when they can fit us in.

My Hero:

It has to be my sister. She is a breast cancer survivor. I admire her strength, determination, and attitude.

I was born and raised in El Salvador and moved to Canada 31 years ago. I have been a dental hygienist for 22 years and love teaching patients how to care for their teeth and gums and how oral health impacts their overall health.

Outside of the office:

I love spending time with my wife, two kids, and friends. I work out and do yoga to help stay in shape. My passion is learning other languages, presently I am learning Italian. I am fluent in Spanish, French, English, and soon… Italian!

My Hero:

My hero is my mother. She was the most loving, caring, and compassionate woman I have ever known. She always saw the good in people and was so giving. Sadly, my mom passed away in 2018.

I was born and raised in Ottawa, OR. I then moved to BC after graduating from high school. I worked in television and became interested in dentistry when my two children started school.

My motivation to get started in dental care came from a friend who was a dental assistant. I helped her with her two children, and she encouraged me to come and work in her office. So, I started on reception and then found my passion for assisting. I love working and interacting with people, so dentistry was the perfect fit.

I went on to receive my Dental Assistant Certification and have continued my development at the Las Vegas Institute. I have now worked in dentistry for more than 30 years and have been at this office for more than 28 years.

Outside of the Office:

I love any outdoor activity. In nice weather, I love to go for walks, hike, and bike ride. In the winter, I like to snowshoe and downhill ski. I enjoy getting together with family and friends too.

My Hero:

My parents. They helped me become the person I am today.

I’ve been in dentistry since 2012 and I love helping people. I also enjoy learning new ways to improve my skill set to give our patients the best care possible!

Outside of the Office:

I’m married and have a fur baby named Skye, a duck tolling retriever, who may or may not be smarter than us. On weekends, I enjoy our beautiful BC outdoor lifestyle and keeping Starbucks in business! I look forward to seeing you at our office.

I was born in Edmonton. My family moved to India when I was two years old. After spending ten years in India, we moved back and settled in Kitimat, BC. I’m married and have two wonderful kids. My interest in dentistry developed slowly. I started as a dental receptionist and then progressed to chairside assistant and, finally, became a Certified Dental Assistant.

Dentistry was first suggested to me by one of my cousins who was an assistant at the time. She felt it would be a good fit for me, and she was right!

I now enjoy meeting new people every day and playing an integral part in improving their dental health.

Outside of the Office:

I love to spend time with my family and watch home improvement shows.

My Hero:

My mom. She raised two girls as a single mother without any help.
